Sirocco

Every year on the day the clan was founded, the Windsinger sent a new clan member. It just seemed to happen that a mysterious wind egg hatched and provided just what the clan needed. This year the clan was so involved in the Dustcarve Dig that they didn't even notice the special day pass. They were gathering materials to support the great work, helping out in the search for the Tidelord, and partying with all the others working together.

They were volunteering and hauling a stone statue out of the cave when it crumbled under their claws and a blue and black dragon roared his way free of the dust. He was a dragon grown carved by the Earthshaker. It awed the Wind dragons more than a little. Sure they had their special hatches... and that was when they realized they missed the special day for their own clan! However, it was only a few days past, and they'd been digging so... this counted right? They looked at the new dragon's dark earth eyes, how he was babbling on about protecting them, and figured he'd fit in just fine. He maybe just needed a windy name, so that is how Sirocco came to be.

Another Obelisk, Tashi, joined the clan shortly after. The two of them were a little baffled by the difficult to pin down Wind clan at first, but they quickly fell in with the Peacekeeper's. No one would admit to there being a leader, or a plan, but after a week of observation they realized that there was someone. Treasure seldom went out on Peacekeeper missions, because she was always there. Checking the clan borders, settling disputes, calming the wild, and holding the disparate dragons together. It became clear to the two Obelisks that this was the dragon to help them define and complete the mission the Earthshaker had given them.


3 days late for my anniversary, I am still counting him because I started digging him out on time;)
