Treasure

The darling of the Peacekeepers, Treasure grew up surrounded by shining scales and golden wings. It's no wonder she grew up to embody their high ideals, to always try to be the best to keep others safe to enjoy the songs on the breeze.

Unlike many, she prefers to stay home, gliding majestically though the air around her home and ensuring visitors were friendly. She also keeps an eye on the trouble maker Lonan and helps settle disputes inside the clan. The clan is so used to her taking this role that most major disagreements end with an agreement to let Treasure decide the matter. With the clan founders showing little interest in leading, Treasure is the one who has stepped up to ensure the many different and often large personalities can live in harmony.

Yet in her own mind others form the heart of the clan, like Dubhan, beautiful inside and out, his gentle soul always there to talk others through their problems. Or Sadira, the mighty warrior, who was one of the first to step up and make sure the clan was protected and fed.

Obelisks with their joyful demeanor and serious mission coming to her clan changed her life. They wanted to work with the clan leader, but of course no one had ever agreed on one. They didn't need it. Danny lead those who wished for wild adventure. Selene was the spokesperson of the artists. Most likely. They were all pretty individual, and the clan had ended up with two tailors who she wasn't sure if they fit in there or not. The warriors... if they bowed to anyone she would think it was Nimbus. The Peacekeeper dragons were of course led by Isis who had founded their order. Mostly, they all did what their hearts led them to do. Clan Peacebound focused on the present, on the joys found in the breeze, and seldom worried about what could happen. Too much focus on the future made one forget to enjoy the present after all.

When Treasure listed all the leaders she could think of the Obelisks left to talk to the clan. Then they came back. Tashi gazed somberly at Treasure, electric blue eyes with the odd rectangular pupil for once more serious than joyful. "It turns out Treasure, that you're the one the clan trusts to decide. You're the one they trust to guide their lives. You're the one they know will defend them. That means you are the one we work with to plan. You know this clan, you will know who we need to work with and who can help come up with more ideas."

That day was the day Treasure became in her own mind the one who had the honour of deciding things for the clan. Solving little problems re-arranged in her mind to serving her clan. They trusted her. She would keep her focus on keeping them safe. Hopefully with Tashi by her side.
