Biography
Accused of being 'up his own butt' and thinking everyone should love him.
Makes huffy whines to himself, sounding very much like a ready tea kettle, when confused about why he can't be friends with everyone.
Has to be reminded to 'use his words'.
But once you get past his quirks, you meet a quiet empathic dragon that just wants to please.
His friendly nature makes him a poor guard against other dragons, but a fierce protector of all dragons, clan or not.
FeatherKettle was lured away from his original home by a thirst for friendship. His tendency to always have a hot cup of goodness on hand to offer and generous nature being readily taken advantage of until he was led all the way to the Bazaar near the Pillar of the World. After a little back and forth trading, this kettle dragon found himself loaded up and taken ever deeper into Dragonhome territory.
He ended up as a cook at an outpost for a warrior/archeology clan battling against the ever present undead Wyrms and other such deadly beasties that lurked in the depths of the world. Eventually, in such harsh conditions, FeatherKettle's dormant warrior blood bubbled to the surface and he became an accomplished warrior and trainer himself.
On a trip back to the Bazaar for fresh herbs and other ingredients, FeatherKettle met Regan, a traveling dragon who joined him for a charming tea party, and who left FeatherKettle with the gift of two new Kettles to remember her by: LittleKettle and KingKettle.

Generation 10
I am a part of Project Ugly! This project is dedicated to growing the massive family tree of the "legendarily ugly" Gengyar... based on the founder's appearance pre-scatter, of course. Just because he's ugly doesn't mean his children will be! I want him to have a mostly, if not totally, unexalted lineage because IT IS AN HONOR TO BE THE SON OR DAUGHTER OF A LEGENDARILY UGLY DRAGON. Learn more about the project by clicking the button!
Gengyar Lineage:
Gengyar >> Nueclia >> Pythia >> Greenhouse >> Reef >> Powder >> Lambrusco >> Kettle >> ConceptKettle >> SweetKettle >> Me! |
ConceptKettle loves the art of tea brewing so much that all she lays in her eggs are kettles, not hatchlings. Yes, we're not joking. No, we can't elaborate on why that happens, seeing as we ourselves don't understand it either. It's rare for a dragon's passion to pierce the very level of their biology, but then again, Concept Kettle is a rare derg herself - few in Sornieth can claim to be as knowledgeable in matters of tea as she. The liquid consumes her life and body, and she is a slave to Sornieth's traveling roads forever searching for more variants of her drug of choice. Bunt a few cups of green tea her way if you see her in pity. Consider it your good deed for the day.

If this dragon is bred, all of their children should be named [WORD HERE]Kettle, like in their offspring list.
