Kousa

Kousa's Search took him a long and meandering path before he finally reached the Sunbeam Ruins and Haru. He was immediately drawn both to the lonely, sorrowful Pearlcatcher and to the monument she was building; it took him some time to sort out that the monument itself was his charge, and that he was simply falling in love with Haru.

Their three oldest children have stayed close to home, and all three have followed in his footsteps, along with a younger daughter, Utamiel, who returned to Agion's realm to join the knighthood and start a family of her own, as did Azraq, her much-younger brother. He and Haru are probably done having hatchlings - they're starting to welcome grandkids, now, and Haru smiles more and more often. He couldn't be happier about both.
