Who saves homes from dragon-kind. A friend to spirits. Any clan that intends to firmly establish their territory for the foundation and expansion of a lair must first either make peace with or drive out the spirits that may spend their time around that clan's claim. The worst thing that can happen to a developing clan is to be cursed by aggravated elementals because the clan's members disturbed the spirits' home. Sikka is a masterful medium and an arcane adept, he met Bruins while teaching a class for some novice mediums. She said she felt like the atmosphere of her clan was becoming increasingly tense for no explainable reason, and that she would appreciate Sikka's help in determining if the problem was because her clan had upset the native spirits. A quick visit to Bruins' clan confirmed her hunch, Sikka told her it was a wonder the spirits hadn't done something more dire since her clan had never communicated with the elementals, yet had continued to claim more and more of their territory. It took quite a while, but Sikka was able to talk the elementals down from hurting Bruins' clan further. With appreciation, Bruins offered Sikka a home with her family. He would be allowed to travel anywhere he liked to teach novices or practice his spiritual diplomacy for other struggling clans, but he would always have a place to stay in Dragonhome if he ever needed to rest. Sikka accepted her offer with a smile and a bow. Sikka is not romantically interested in anyone, although he has many close friends from his travels. This is the reason he often mates with Sucre; they are great friends, but both only feel platonic love for the other. |
