Biography

XXXMetallourgia
hot forge master - dirty capitalist

19057.png
Bruins likes to joke that Metallourgia is the only Ridgeback from the shifting expanse that couldn't find employment. Metallourgia likes to ask Bruins to stop talking.

An old friend from an old home, Metallourgia has only recently joined his friends Bruins and Carbon in Dragonhome. Before his move, he was one of the few dragons that the Stormcatcher wouldn't hire. He had an awful relationship with electricity, as he could never understand it or why they really needed to harvest it. The machines that they were supposed to be powering didn't seem to be helping any of the citizens of the Expanse, so why work on them anyway (the pay isn't even that good)? Unsurprisingly, the Stormcatcher found Metallourgia's attitude and lack of appropriate skillset... displeasing, so there were no promotions in sight for him. After leaving his dead-end job, the maroon Ridgeback turned to something he found did have a knack for: metal working.

This was the best thing Metallourgia could have done for himself. He applied the construction he had learned in his training as an employee of the Stormcatcher to some Fire Flight techniques he read about in one of the few libraries hidden under the Tempest Spire . His weapons were sturdy and unique, the inspiration of the spires apparent, and his armor was finely casted and competitively priced (if not a bit too conductive), forged from scrap materials that would have otherwise been sold to the Flamecaller's denizens on the cheap. There were not many who shared his trade in the Expanse, and none matched the uniqueness of his wares. Suffice to say, the entrepreneur's business was booming, much to the dismay of the Stormcatcher. A god of production doesn't take kindly to his former employees competing with him, and it was only a matter of time before he was taxed. Not quite thankful enough for the Stormcatcher's blessing to stay and pay, Metallourgia left to join his old friends and the Earthshaker.

He won't pay rent, but it's not really bumming if you provide war supplies, right? Right?
