She wasn't always fungas filled! But a love for botany and biology got her closer and closer to the plants that she studies. Before long, her passion consumed her.. quite literally. It isn't all bad though, actually it's not bad at all. Sharing a body with a fungus can have its pros! Don't have to go very far to study for your field when the thing you want to study is quite literally…you. After her transformation into rotting corpse controlled by a fungal copy of her brain, Necrosis joined Obmorozheniye Labs.
