He learned magic from his aunt Delilah, alongside his sister Grape. While his sister became increasingly interested in the darker side of magic and left to find a new tutor, Flurry continued to learn from Delilah. He also spent time learning the ways of the woods from Sialia, the clan's tracker and scout. He took his interest in the forest and brought it into his magic, learning how to use the hardy herbs and lichens of the tundra forests in his spells. He enjoys spending time alone in nature, and strives to maintain balance with the natural world.
