Snowdrift clan

Clan members = snowdrifters?

A community of free spirits and wandering souls. There is a smaller core population of villagers that inhabit the village year-round, and a loose collection of unofficial clan members who come and go. The clan will give shelter to anyone who needs a temporary place to stay, as long as they don't cause too much trouble for the clan.

Floating village of snow homes (like igloos?) on the ice floes. Loose ropes staked into the edges of the floes hold them together while still allowing movement. If the clan grows too large, another floe can be added to the village. Ice magic can be used to condense and shape the snow into a dense building material used to make well-insulated homes. Most dragons can easily fly the short distance between floes, but there is usually at least one raft on each flow that can be used by flightless dragons to cross. There are no permanent bridges between floes as they'd likely be smashed if two floes bumped into each other. Villagers are used to their homes moving about and shaking as the floes drift and bump into each other.

Underwater settlement beneath the ice floes for water dragons. The largest floe in the centre of the village has some short tunnels and small caves carved into the underside which are often used to rest or store goods by the water dragons.
