Ice Flight Elemental/Snow Mage

"Bless my homeland forever."
Weiss was born into a small clan in the Frigid Floes, near the outskirts of the Icewarden's domain. Despite her distance from the center of the elemental power, Weiss was blessed with powers over snow that were greater than any every before seen in her small clan. While she was still considered an outcast by some as her power of ice itself was minimal, Weiss preferred the softer strength of snow over the hard, unbending power over ice. She eventually moved to another clan in The Observatory. There she lived happily with others also blessed by the Icewarden's touch, learning more about her powers and working on her control. She was happy to live there forever until news reached her of a dragon in another clan who was unable to control her powers. Wanting to help, she left her clan and moved to the Lightweaver's Domain. Weiss spends her mornings teaching Elsa how to control her powers. The two work on the finer points of control to start with and while Weiss is hopeful that one day Elsa will not need the shackles to control her powers she knows that it will be a long time until they reach that point. She is just happy to see how excited Elsa is by the progress she is making on a day to day basis. Initially a little saddened by the lack of other ice dragons, Weiss soon began to find other friendships which help her feel like she is fitting in. Zelda has become a very close friend of hers, the two often discussing how they feel about their day to day tasks. With both of them having very similar personalities, it is easier for them to understand the other's struggles. While Weiss is still a little nervous around Zelda's fiancé, Link, she is starting to grow more used to him as they spend more time together. |

Weiss is a quiet dragon, generally considered to be shy and reserved. When she is around friends she can become quite talkative, although she, like Zelda, continues to behave in a more proper manner despite being more open. She and Zelda both enjoy flowers; Weiss' favorites grow in the snowy climes of her homeland. Although she is proud of her abilities to control snow, Weiss does not talk about her abilities because of lingering doubts that she is good enough since she cannot control ice. Always surrounded by her own personal snow flurry despite the warmth of the Lightweaver's Domain, Weiss sometimes will make piles of snow for the hatchlings to play in. They enjoy sliding down the piles, making snowdragons, and having snowball fights until the snow melts. Name Meaning: White, bright, shining in old high German. |

Crystal/Facet dragons are a hidden favorite of mine, and Weiss wears it so well! I like that her powers are only over snow, not ice, it really makes her stand out, and her gentle apparel works great with her colors and makes her seem really approachable! she definitely looks like a dragon who would cross the continent just to help out one little dragon who couldn't get the hang of her powers. I'm not typically a fan of crystal/facet genes but Weiss' genes are not overpowering like other colours of crystal/facet and Weiss' crystal/facet perfect match her Cloudgazer apparel!
