Imperial dragons are so named because they are the constituents of Emperors, roving ghost-gyres with many heads that, though they do not necessarily worship the Lightweaver, nonetheless are sprung from an echo of her divine essence.
What to most clans is a god is to some forgotten sects of Imperials a mere physical ancestor, unflawless and thus unworshipped, if still spoken of.
These are all beast-drakes, of course. No true dragon would ever say the Lightweaver had had children.

This individual is a traveler among the old stones, one among many of her kind who are born and grow up in the wild-reclaimed Light-ruins never knowing any other mode of living. Her name is the hush of the tumultuous abyssum of the first sea before salt. She listens and never speaks, except on nights when that sea's air is on the wind.

She has two living daughters. Her sons are gone to sea.
