Marlow Scylla Patterson is a Hermit, who only comes out of hiding to clean up and/or cause collateral damage with everything she does. She's an edgelord who calls herself the Goodnight-Knight, and she claims to worship Pharasma, goddess of death/life. She was formerly a full on healer, but found greater joy in more nefarious work. She remains a master of healing. Marlow found simply healing to be too narrow a focus when it came to healing and now considers herself a true disciple of life in all aspects: a (potential) midwife, medic, and mortician.



She is half-vampire, half-werecreature, and may take the form of a weird aquatic nightjar-looking thing, an abomitable bird-furry, or a weirdo woman.

Extremely reclusive, sheltered, and awkward/anxious. She has an impulse to come near water whenever possible, and is usually found sheltering somewhere along a shoreline or creek.

She’s not strong on social norms, laws, and general manners, having been in isolation since the age of 12. She seems to have found a way to get though the world well enough, but is generally a recluse. Her eldritch heart guides her through life and social situations, she doesn’t understand it, but it works for her.

A hermit who's been through a lot of heartbreak, starting with the loss of her family, then several friends, and eventually, realizing the whole concept of religion, her only comfort, was a lie. She still prays in desperation that someone is watching her, and she's aware that there are unknowable forces at work in the world, but she has been left jaded.
