Biography
A small and worn-down chain of mountains home to many dragon settlements and a carved out system of tunnels. |

Dragonfly Ridge Ancient, Eroded, & Well-Loved |
Location & Description
Below the Plague border, and the Storming Plains, sits an ancient and eroded chain of mountains, having long faced the fierce storms from the Water border nearby. Many different clans of dragons have tried to make their homes in these mountains, and while many have been washed away with the storms, a few ancient towns and homes have stayed put.
Within and underneath the mountains is a deep cave system that connects with the Storming Plains' cave system. Whether these caves were naturally occurring, or carved out manually, is unknown to this day. On the Dragonfly Ridge side of this cave system, an ancient clan of dragons have made their homes within the mossy caves. Some of the dragons living in the city section of this cave, called Mossbrick Town, have been living there for generations upon generations- possibly dating back hundreds to thousands of years. Their home has become deep and etched out, having weathered even the worst storms that the Water territory has to offer. A smaller cave called the Hatchling's Ledge close to Mossbrick Town hosts a small crew of motley dragons who take care of lost hatchlings and travelling dragons. Their location changes every few years, sometimes due to storm and sometimes due to needing more space, but they keep an eye out after storms and dangerous weather for lost and missing dragons. Further up in the mountains, where it starts to snow heavily, is a military outpost placed by the Windsinger's disciples to keep an eye on borders nearby... with a second mission to watch the caves from the Storming Plains and the surrounding areas for anything odd. There is only one place where not much is known about- the Redleaf Forest nestled in the valley of the mountains. Most dragons are warned not to go there, but not all listen, and most don't return if they do leave for the forest. |
