Adelheid

Since Adelheid was born without the ability of flight inherent to most dragons, she had a bit of a hard childhood. She was obviously physically different. Her mother Arcana had hoped to school her in the ways of battle, to raise a powerful guard like herself. Adelheid was weak, though, and turned to her father's studies instead. This caused a rift between the two for many years, with Arcana projecting her own insecurities and pains of her adolescent years onto her child, and Adelheid simply needing a rock of support.

She found a love for history, how dragonkind has grown through millennia, how cultures form and thrive. Today, she has tried to patch her relationship with her mother, and now pursues her interests by living in the outskirts of the Plagueland City, where many dragons of rot hold to their old ways. She met Blackwood there, who is a very well-travelled and wise Aberration who has picked up many, many stories in her life. She grew very close with Blackwood until they became inseparable.
