Abel is an accomplished mage and scholar, both at home and in the rotting lands. He has dedicated himself to studying the plaguelands' properties, how it spreads. He hopes to one stay stop its encroachment on other flight territories, ultimately keeping all of Sornieth safe from its sickness.

Abel is obviously not liked in the Scarred Wasteland for his goals. What plague dragon would be fond of him? Meophio would. He is an exalted guest and a great friend of the plague city's leader, something which has drawn controversy. Between Meophio's appreciation and his mate's watchful eye, he is quite safe in his new home. Nobody would dare cross either of them.

Abel's always been a bit strange even back home in the Starfall Isles. He is flightless, something his daughter Adelheid would inherit, as well as being incredibly small, especially for an Imperial. He's a bit of a funny character. Ask anyone and they would tell you that he is certainly a little "off". It's not a bad thing, but he is obviously a little strange to those outside his own head.
