Notes:
  • Hrafn = raven
  • Some lore progress is happening over here, so that I can keep an eye on the social structures of the various crow variants.
  • Hrafn first encountered the Outpost in his official capacity as a contact point for the Eboncrow information network. His parents (and grandparents and great-grandparents and probably even the great-great-grandparents) had worked with the Outpost before him, and now it was his turn.
  • The Outpost was a good customer, to be treated with outmost respect and a Clan to never, ever accept a contract against, other than supplying a compilation of publicly known information.
  • It all went well enough ...if it weren't for the fact that he fell in hopelessly love with Birger, son to the Outpost's Leaders.
  • Realising what choice stood before him, he resigned his post to a sibling who could be more professional and impartial, left the Ebonflock and sought acceptance into the Outpost.
  • The courtship between Birger and Hrafn was a lengthy one. Partly due to Hrafn's inherent aversion to ever giving anyone who isn't his direct superior a straight answer, and partly due to Birger's self-esteem issues. The nocturne just couldn't believe that yes, the charming, sarcastic and persuasive Crow really and truly loved and admired him.
  • Has since integrated extremely well into the large Leading family and became best friends with his sister-in-law, Itha, even before he managed to convince Birger that he loved him.
  • He regarded her with a sort of horrified fascination at first as she was so very different from everything he was used to, but quickly grew to be fast friends with her as she helped him coax her brother out on a date. Now he mostly just revels in the sheer freedom of her and everything she does.
  • King of sarcasm and dry humour.
