Theo had intended to stay home, with his parents, to help mediate their... somewhat disastrous relationship. He liked it there, he was worried they'd fall apart without him, he was needed at home- all the things he'd repeatedly tell himself. When Yoryo wrote home raving about the wonders of Refuge's city and the sights and sounds he immersed himself in daily, Theo knew he had to go.

He'd always dreamt of traveling. Within weeks he'd arranged his trip, made sure he was allowed to tag along with the next trip Fade's caravan made between the Tabemono and Refuge, and checked (no less than three times) that Yoryo was sure he could stay with him.

He loves his parents, but having experienced the city for himself, he could never go back to small town living.

worries quietly about his parent's rocky relationship. it's why he stayed home, really. he wants to travel the world. puts maps up in his workshop.

Theo prefers cone incense (more fragrant!), likes herbal scents in particular.
