Biography

● | CROCKEROAR | ●

passionate - eager | perfectionist - workaholic

| BIO |

A true scholar at heart, Crockeroar, or just Crocker, has busied himself with books since he was a hatchling. His mother owned the local library in his clan, and to him, it was the most magical place in Sornieth. He would spend hours curled up and researching plant life, the Beastclans and so on . . . but his favourite subject was linguistics.

Each Flight had its own dialect, slang, and codes. Some even had completely separate ancient languages the elders and older clans used. Crocker noticed that the information on the subject in the Mirrorlight Promenade was minimal. Other Flights, when they were kind enough to share information at the interflight trading hub, always said the same thing: that no, there wasn't many books on lanaguages but that they didn't particularly care.

When he came of age and was finally a dragon, Crocker left his home to travel Sornieth and research languages himself. He meticulously planned the trip, carrying just enough treasure, gems, scrolls and ink to last him. On his way to the Observatory in the Starfall Isles, he ran into two dragons, Mina and Pageant. Neither carried useful information, but he found himself growing attached to them.

Everyday after studying the ancient runes sketched across the Observatory's base, he would spend the night in Mina's growing clan. They welcomed him with open arms and quickly became friends.

But Crocker knew he couldn't stay. He had a job to complete. He eventually left with a heavy heart and the promise to send letters weekly.

When his journey's over, Crocker plans to publish his findings and return to the small clan.

| ROLE |

Still in love with linguistics, Crocker plans to help with translations in the clan and around the Observatory, as well as starting up a small scroll collection and becoming a Librarian like his mother. He occasionally collaborates with Genio, who pitched in a few texts.
