| BIO |
If you asked Genio how she ended up where she did, she would simply shrug and say that her old school couldn't accept her outlandish brilliance, and that she was much better off in Mina's clan. Most everyone — including Mina herself — believed this, seeing her as no more than another mage that dropped out.
There is some semblance of truth in her words. Genio can put months into a single project, and learn an astounding amount along the way. The only thing that kept her from becoming one of the greatest pupils in Astrolodome was the inconsistency of said projects: while there were a few that lasted long enough for Genio to learn something, many others could be wrapped up in a matter of days.
With no drive to continue research after she had reached the desired conclusion, Genio throws away countless opportunities to advance her findings. Surprisingly, this is not what got her kicked out of school; her marks were always fine, great even.
The problem was that her idea of "outlandish brilliance" involved bringing inanimate objects to life, magicking already living creatures and creating minions to complete schoolwork for her so she could focus on her passion projects (teachers never found out about this one). The line was drawn when she had enchanted the principal's pet fish to haunt him.
When Genio was told she was expelled, she hardly cared— as long as she could continue experimenting, she'd be pleased. The mage moved out of the bustling Astrolodome and found herself in Mina's clan after a few days of wandering the wilderness (with the occasional appearance of two familiar fish, who she'd nicknamed "dean's demise.")
The clan accepts Genio's work more than her former teachers, as long as she swears to be more careful in the future.

| ROLE |
Strangely enough, Genio and Crockeroar ended up bonding quite well together, both being dedicated scholars. While they don't work together most times, Genio often finds herself helping grow his scroll collection by writing books on her findings and creations.
