BIO:
Rift the Mirror Dragon was originally adopted via the Auction House by some dragons from the clan of Nackryn that felt sorry for her. While Mirror dragons aren't that smart to begin with, Rift still struggled to grasp the concept of 'money', and decided that she was better off without it.
One day, a monk named Lazav introduced Rift to the Vow of Poverty. In the Vow of Poverty, a dragon may not spend any treasure or gems on the temporary pleasures of life, but they have to fully gene and outfit themself with an accent, clothing, and battle stones. The dragon also has to level themself to 25.
While Lazav was interested in doing the Vow of Poverty the 'real' way, Rift decided that she should be able to trade items to get fancy genes such as Slime and Capsule. The clan of Nackryn had already been gifted a bee gene by a kind stranger, so Rift snuck into the treasury and used the bee gene on herself. This angered the leaders of Nackryn, but Rift didn't care.
Next, Rift stole some fancy skins and accents from the treasury that were obtained through giveaways, coliseum farming, and begging random strangers. She traded those items for a slime gene, and used that on herself.
However, after using the slime gene, Rift grew into an adult! She missed her 5-day childhood, and sought to restore her youth. Nackryn had recently refilled their treasury with more skins and accents, so Rift again stole those and traded them for a Scroll of Eternal Youth!
Now that Rift was a child again, she decided to trade more items for a capsule gene. I'm too lazy to elaborate on that, so Rift now has all of her genes!
That's Rift's story on the Vow of Poverty, although the only rule she followed was not spending a single treasure or gem. The leaders of Nackryn put her on trial for stealing from the treasury, and briefly considered exiling her. However, the Great Spirit of Nackryn (me) has decided against so.
Since Rift is stuck as a hatchling, Lazav adopted her, and both of them are living comfortably to this day.
