Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle All though Honeysuckle now enjoys her days in the colorful island she calls home, she was born in fire and called water home for some time. Her parents were always restless when it came to having kids. They craved the unique eyes their kids would have, so her parents took flight when it came time to have hatchlings. They visited fire, plague, Earth, and Light. Fire just happened to be where Honeysuckle hatched, but it would be their last nest with fire. The flames flicked around her egg as it cracked. She grew in these scorching temperatures and rocky terrain, but before she was much older she was brought back to their water home. It was a shocking change and her body struggled to adjust to the new atmosphere. It was easier after a while, to be around water. The ground was soft and sandy, the skies were clear and the air didn't hurt her lungs. She enjoyed being around the water but it didn't feel right. She felt called to go somewhere else. As a child her parents would tell of their adventures roaming the viridian labyrinth. The stories of all the green, lush, plants that created an adventure every day. The stories of colorful and unique birds and animals that called that place home. She wasn't sure if it was wanting to just adventure or perhaps connect back to her ancestors roots, but she wanted to visit this home of green. Her intentions were just to visit, just to check it out! She was invited to stay at the island of the hibiscus by Evangeline, and immediately she felt at home. There was water, but everything was so much more alive. Her claws didn't slip in the grass like it would in the sand, her heart felt at ease and everything felt right.

Welcome Crew Honeysuckle decided to be apart of Welcome Crew because she wanted others to feel just as at home as she does. Evangeline, Mudslide, and all the other dragons she met were so happy, open, and kind. It definitely helped persuade her into staying. She also just loves talking and meeting new dragons and hearing their stories. In this position she gets to see all types of dragons, way more than she would if she was doing any other job. Her biggest role is giving tours and relaying information about the plant life around them. She also is in-charge while Iberis and Kalmia are taking care of their hatchlings.

Activities

Honeysuckle is a big bookworm. She loves stories (as previously mentioned) so Monarch's library has become one of her favorite places. She especially loves to read romance, mystery, and fantasy books.

Her other favorite activity is watercolor painting by the shore. She doesn't say she's that good at it but every other dragon begs to differ. Her pictures are full of color, mimicking the scenes around her.

Relationships (thoughts from Honeysuckle) Evangeline: She's such a lovely fae! Probably one of the kindest and most caring dragons I have ever met. She just has this atmosphere to her that is so inviting. I don't think i'd be here in nature if it wasn't for her. Iberis: He's a great coworker and all around a lovely dragon. He makes waiting for dragons to arrive go by a lot faster and he's just nice to be around. I'm always pleasantly surprised by his attitude towards life.

Mudslide: I don't know him as well as I know Evangeline, but I do know he's an incredible leader, great fighter, and has got the same sort of atmosphere as Evangeline. I always feel safe with him around.
Clayros: An amazing fighter and yet again another person I always feel safe around. He's a great dragon, I love talking with him. I do wish we had more time to spend together, a little hard when he always has to guard. The time spent with him though is really enjoyable.
Mantis: Little Mantis! A ball full of curiosity. You wouldn't expect him to be so full of knowledge but he really is. He loves giving little random tidbits to newcomers with no explanations. Those are always fun to explain.
Monarch: Holy cow he's HUGE, was my first thought. Then my second thought was holy cow this library is HUGE. Monarch is such a lovely dragon. He's definitely a gentle giant with an incredible creative mind. He's got so many unique ideas and I love listening to them. Sometimes I feel like i'm Belle and he's the Beast but in like a not romantic way.
Leafy: I honestly didn't really like her before but it wasn't until I crashed into her one day while reading a book. My book fell straight into the mud and she immediately apologized, A LOT. She invited me in to her den to have a drink (it was some delicious tea). Her walls were decorated with flower paintings and I was astonished with the details. She told me that she painted them, gave her something to do while she had to take care of hatchlings. We don't hang-out too often (as she has many little kiddos and gardening things to take care of) but we enjoy late evening paintings down by the water or near her garden.
Acer: He hangs around the Hibiscus tree a lot, and especially comes around more with Meeker being here. I also find him with Estris and Kynara now. He's a really gentle and quiet spiral, but always has interesting thoughts to share. I love the way he talks to me about glademother, you can tell he is so fascinated by her.
Redwood: I don't know her as well as I know her brother but she's impressed me a lot. Her magic is so cool and she has a big heart for her siblings and the clan. We've talked a few times, usually talking about Clayros.
Meeker: The way she reacts to nature everyday is the same way I feel about being here. I don't know her as well as Mantis, she tends to talk more to Iberis, but she's very sweet. Acer tells me he's impressed with how in-tune she is to glademother.
Anise: Holy cow can she paint!! I've talked to her a few times to learn some tips for painting but she has to be magic because her skills are incredible. I hope to get to know her more though, especially since she'll be around more to finish painting the rest of the Rep floor patterns.
Selvan: I feel pretty neutral towards him. I see him around a lot considering I visit the library a lot but we don't really talk much. It is interesting that he's the only fae from Leafy around.
Sacred: Ugh! I really do dislike her, I do my best to not have negative feelings towards other people (or get angry with them for little things) but she is really a problematic dragon! She's rude and just doesn't follow simple rules. She pranks me a lot, and its not fun pranks. Its pranks like making me think i'm going down a tunnel but NOPE its a wall.
Venomstrike: Her name is accurate. Its unfortunate to me that there are only three wildclaws, and two of them are not so great. She is a really pretty dragon and i'll give her that but her attitude is horrible and she isn't very nice to me. She's always glaring at me as she passes by too.
