Iberis Meet Iberis or "Buttercup" as he was nicknamed by Nocturnal the leader of Crystalfeather's clan. Before Iberis joined our clan he was born in another nature clan, but the name of that clan is long forgotten. He was invited to join the clan of the hibiscus instead of having to be sent off to the Gladekeeper, and his parents accepted (as he was too young to make that decision). Before he fully stayed with the clan he took a small visit with Crystalfeather's clan, he toured the Oculus of Eleven and came to his new clan with many stories. It was clear to many dragons how gentle and nice Iberis was, everyone always complimented him on his caring nature and he complimented everyone back. He always has a great big smile on his face and his laugh is a rumbling laugh. One that you can easily pick out of a crowd but a welcome laugh. Iberis is also known for his jokes, making every new member and visitor of the clan chuckle with a new and unique joke. Iberis is also a father to many hatchlings, and adores kiddos of all sizes (including you!!) He lives on the ancient island (though he spends his work time on the main Hibiscus island) with his wife Kalmia.

Welcome Crew Iberis is the leader for the Welcome Crew, a perfect position for the jolly gaoler. Iberis works with Honeysuckle and Mantis to welcome dragons to their wonderful home. Meeker is there for fun, but mostly hangs-out and does not really help. Welcome Crew was created by Evangeline, Mudslide, and Iberis. They realized that their population was growing way faster than they could keep up, it was easy for Evangeline and Mudslide to show dragons around before but now they had other duties to attend to. Iberis offered to help out and therefore created the Welcome Crew! The Welcome Crew greets visitors, gives tours, and answer questions about the islands. They help make sure everyone has a positive experience during their stay.

Relationships (thoughts from Iberis) Kalmia: My dearest wife, oh how gorgeous she is! I'm a very lucky husband. Her fur glows in the sunlight and her eyes are like two larimar's that reflect trust. She's my everything and I love her so.

Thomas: My first born son, a special one indeed. Not just because he's my son and not just because he's my first born, but look at him! He's forever a child but his personality is much bigger than any adult's.
Nocturnal: I don't know her too well now, though we keep in touch via letters. I am so happy that she let me stay with her clan for a short while, light territory is so different but so interesting. I do occasionally visit her clan still, but less frequently now. I am grateful for her kind heart and it makes me happy to say I would trust her with anything.
Evangeline: She's quite a small little fae compared to me, but has a BIG heart. It was only fair I help the clan out by being Welcome Crew with how much she has helped me and my family.
Mudslide: His pride and love for his family and clan is infectious. You can tell through every action that he loves what he is doing and truly appreciates everyone. Its great that I can work beside a loyal and genuine dragon.
Redwood: Ah! A beautiful soul! She's a powerful and brave dragon, not just because of the powers she holds. I know she likes to appear strong and tough from the outside but she really just wants to be loved and seen. I hope someday you get to see her laugh just like I have.
Clayros: Just like his sister, he is a powerful, strong, and skilled dragon. He scowls a lot less than his sister and is more open about his feelings. Maybe a little too obvious. *He looks over to honeysuckle whose not sitting too far from him).
Honeysuckle: the best coworker a dragon could ask for! She's stellar at her job, I can count on her for when I need sick days/days off. Her bright personality shines a mile away and I wouldn't be surprised if that is why we have so many visitors.
Mantis: What a little guy! Doctor mantis; the professional baby welcomer. That does not mean he just welcomes babies. He's lovely to have around, he's one of the most curious berry babes I have ever met and that makes for some interesting conversations. He always has something to say and we always have something to say back.
Meeker: Blessed! A primal and a forever child. She's quieter than her brother Mantis, but is almost just as curious. I've not had as much time to get to know her but she's very interested in everything nature. She is constantly laying in deep grass and would much rather walk than be carried.
Reef: I don't deny our similarities in personality, but I do deny *looking* like him. He's literally bright teal! He's an amazing rep however, and I love our chats. I would consider him a friend for sure. I'm impressed that he swims, considering our fur and all. He must be a mighty strong dragon under all that fur.
Teddy: again, very similar in personalities. He's older than I am and likes to brag about that, though i'm sure when we reach our older ages i'll be the one bragging about being young. He's an amazing friend to talk with but sometimes its a little challenging with how many little friends he has around all the time. He comes in handy too when translating for beastclans and coatls!
