Zephyr

No one knows Zephyrs story other than one day she just appeared. But, i'll let you in on a little story.

This spiral, although claims to have parents, has a different beginning. If you haven't yet I urge you to read A New Direction. This story is deeply connected to the fateful day when the Twisting Crescendo stopped. Monarch has a few copies for you to read, so come back to this when you are done.

The dragons grieved. The dragons longed for the wind under their wings. Their whole beings were dedicated to the wind, and that was gone. The skies were empty, balloons held still, not even young dragonets would dare hop around.

In this silence there was a dragon, a dragon who was enjoying the sky in all its glory. Who was doing spins, twirls, and doing loops in the airless sky. A dragon whose scales were a pale green, stripes of bamboo green, and horns of dark green. A dragon whose youth did not hinder them, for they kept up in the sky when there was no wind.

This youthful spiral is still a mystery to us, but it is not important who they are its what they started. They showed a new point of view, dragons were meant fly. Edgar was determined to fly and he did, but he did so to deliver a package. A package that told Windsinger, without the wind his dragons were nothing.

In the crack and the sudden swirling of wind, a little hatchling was born. In the center of the Twisting Crescendo a small shiny green spiral floated. Her horns were dark green, her scales sparkled with the runes of some ancient tongue, and her wings were glass-like but held her perfectly a float. The wind swirled around her, somehow she remained unmoving.

She opened her eyes and suddenly she was alive. She twisted and danced, looped and swirled, and smiled and giggled. For anyone else to attempt her dance, they would have been sucked right into the crescendo but she stayed centered.

For she is the wind.

Zephyr No dragon is really sure when Zephyr arrived, everyone says a different day for when she arrived. Some say they saw her fly in on a windy breeze, others say she just appeared on the island, and others say she was always here. We could talk about all the rumors and tales of Zephyr, but there is information set in stone. Zephyr was known by no one when she asked if she could be the wind rep. It was during a meeting when she flew through the window and sat down. Everyone of course was quite startled by this, but she smiled and asked if she could be a wind rep. Everyone of course was a little flustered, but in no time she showed the clan she was a good rep. Zephyr is a quiet dragon, I would say an ambivert (a perfect mix of an introvert and an extrovert), very graceful, optimistic, sympathetic, faithful, and very friendly. She's famous for disappearing though and being hard to find. She'll always appear when she's needed though. Everyone agrees she embodies wind quite well, and there are many rumors that may be because she IS wind.

Representative Zephyr had to prove herself before Evangeline and Mudslide were convinced, they were hesitant to let a random dragon have a powerful role in the clan. Zephyr did not let the two leaders down, she was quiet during meetings and didn't force herself into the conversations. She was found helping many of the clan members out, she was especially helpful for giving safe winds to teach the hatchlings to fly. It became evident to Evangeline and Mudslide that Zephyr was the perfect match, and she has not let the two leaders down since they gave their approval. Zephyr's job as rep in the clan is to educate dragons about the wind: how it moves, how we use it, and most importantly WHY we need it. She also tells of how the wind doesn't follow you, you follow it. She helps wind dragons get used to the different environment, but it doesn't differ too much from their original home. She is one of the few reps who doesn't communicate back to a home clan. Outside of her specific rep duties Zephyr helps frequently around the clan. Her favorite thing is to help hatchlings learn to fly. She also helps dragons get around on days where the wind is slow. She also enjoys doing deliveries and hanging things up.

Relationships (thoughts from Zephyr) Windkeeper: She's an amazing dragon! I love having conversations with her and you can tell she just loves the clan. Its fun flying with her and she is an amazing listener. She's just incredible honestly.

Parsley: I love flying around in his and Leafy's garden! Its such a beautiful place and they are lovely dragons. Parsley is a fun dragon to be around too, he always has a good joke ready. Not to mention I love helping teach his hatchlings to fly.
Leafy: She's got such a sweet personality, its really infectious and its just nice being around her. I love the way she takes care of everything, her plants and hatchlings. I love hearing about her garden and love to help watch her hatchlings when she needs a break.
Eris: She's an incredibly wise dragon, with many trips around the sun. I love talking to her about life and her stories of wind. I could probably listen to her tell stories all day, her voice is so soothing. She's like a mother, and I can't help but love to be around her.
Cindervine: Oh hehe! Cindervine is a marvelous dragon, I would say yes he is handsome and lovely to be around. I love chatting with him while visiting Parsley and Leafy, but we don't really talk all that much.
Evangeline: I am very thankful that she let me join the clan, I'm sure you've already heard so much about her but just all around a splendid dragon.
Mudslide: Just like with Evangeline, I am very thankful to him as well. He knows what he wants and is a good leader.
Acer: Have you seen his eyes? Its so fascinating to me the difference between our primals. I dare say he's more than touched by mother, surely blessed. Its so fascinating talking to him as well, he's close to glademother and its evident through the way he talks about her.
Estris and Kynara: There is no doubt in my mind that they were a blessing from glademother, as I think most primals are. These twins are so special and I can just feel how strong their bond is with each other and with her.
Meeker: Ah, what a tiny blessing of a child! We don't have deep conversations or anything, but there is something unique about her curiosity.
Reef: Its hard not to be friends with Reef, he's just that type of dragon. However, we don't talk much outside of meetings but he always greets me if we do see each other. He's got many years of wisdom for his youth.
Freckle: He's not a horrible dragon, I'm not so sure why so many people judge him at face value. We all make mistakes but that doesn't mean he's a bad rep, I think he does a good job. We don't talk much, but I have caught him staring at me a few times.
Luck: He's a new rep so I don't have much to say but his powers are quite interesting. We get along just fine in meetings but i'm not so sure how we would get along outside of meetings.
Carnival: I am afraid I don't put much effort into understanding him, I've picked up a few things but we don't meet outside of meetings and we have different priorities. He's a good rep though and I enjoy dancing with him.
Cyanide: I don't know him very well either, he's a good rep but I am not frequenting the same places as him.
Prometheus: He's our newest rep and I just don't know him well. The clan members clearly love him and he's got a very surprisingly chill personality.
Uralimpiel: Most of the reps don't know the sorcerers well, but it is fun to talk with them. Uralimpiel is a gorgeous dragon and has a sad story, I don't know her too well still but she gives me tea and lets me talk.
Terra: She's one of the newest sorcerer's so I have yet to get to know her well, but she's there and hasn't done anything bad so yeah!
Korra: Hmph. I don't hate her? I just don't value the same thing she does. She does her job as a rep good, most of the time, I just don't wish to hang out with her.
Hessonite: He's also not terrible, he just wants to do his thing so I let him do it and I won't bother him.
Peridot: She's a bit sassy, I'm not a fan of the way she boasts about being wind. I do love her clothing designs though, I just kind of don't start conversations with her.
Hardedge: He's just boastful, he doesn't give chances for friends.
Sacred: She causes a lot of problems and has been mean to me a few times, so I think its fair to put her down here.
