Cyanide

Cyanide Cyanide is the second rep to join the clan, and similarly to Carnival he came from a clan close in friendship to the Hibiscus Islands. His parents were both from the Clan of The Forgotten Secrets. Though at the time of his birth, the clan was in lightning. It would have made several moves after he left before settling in water. Cyanide was Born to Zulu and Murray, his mother still lives with the Forgotten Secrets but his father moved on to fight for the tidelord (where ever he is). Cyanide was expected to be a bigger fae, due to his fathers size, but he is not. He was also expected to be a decently smart fae, but that he was also not. One day, when cyanide was still a young fae with metallic scales like his father, he decided to drink from a pond. This was no ordinary pond (as you will never encounter those in-land in lightning). It was a murky pond, but the water was separating like oil in water, greens, blues, and purples swirled around it. Again as previously mentioned, he was not a very clever fae. So, this curious little fae decided to drink from it. And what do you know, he comes down with a sickness shortly after. He keeled over, clutching his arms as a warm-stinging-bubbly sensation came over his scales. Slowly but surely the iridescentness of his scales gave away to a bubbly pattern. Zulu rushed over noticing him fall over so suddenly. Her talons wrapped around him as his scales changed, her face turned to horror and she rushed the small fae to her laboratory. She worked as fast as she could, checking in on him every so often to see how his scales were doing (they weren't doing so good). She created a basic system to keep him alive, full of pumps, tubes, and other parts to keep him alive. With the help of the clan's doctor they were able to get it to work, just in time too. The scales giving way to the poison-like matter stopped, but only leaving one metallic ring around the base of his tail. Although he is constantly dealing with the repercussions of his actions, he is still a hard-working fae. Luckily for him, he became a bit smarter, leading him to program some amazing things (like his familiar!) Now he is diplomatic, patient (for the most part), sociable, but also jealous and lazy at times.

Representative It was Cyanide's on interest that got him into being a rep. Though he was not born with any powers, his knowledge of technology and the flow of the storms could be of great use. He did his best to convince lightning head members to send him out but they shared no interest in learning about other clans and felt he didn't know enough about magic to be of use. Luckily for him, the elders of his clan DID share an interest in other clans so he was sent out. It took a letter or two before the clan of the Hibiscus sent for him. He was immediately made at home, the clan (of what was small) we grateful to have a new clan member. Cyanide's role as lightning represent is to communicate between the two clans, talk about the differences in magic. He also helps lightning dragons adjust to the very different biome. He aids in technology with his engineering skills, which is most often used for lights. He also answers questions about having to rely on the technology to stay alive. In addition to that, he also communicates plans to the engineers for buildings and the ideas the engineers have to the leaders.

Relationships (thoughts from Cyanide) Zulu: I love her, like so much. I am very thankful that she was able to keep me alive. Cause obviously without her, I wouldn't be here. We stay in touch a lot, I loved seeing her when the clan visited nature. Torben: He's probably my best friend here, also he created the voltvolley set for me which is an improved version of what my mom made. I loved what she did, but it was a little too easy for me to bump something and have it go wrong. I love working on engineering stuff with him too.

Twilight: She's way smarter than me and has had so much experience with technology. She's very smart and I love working with her. Her knowledge of plants and technology is incredible.
Hessonite: He doesn't talk a lot but we've got pretty close. He had to check up on me pretty frequently (and still does) with the whole poisoning-plague-y thing i've got going on. He's honestly a really nice fae and is definitely a great rep. He's got a hard job being in nature after all.
Carnival: I struggle to communicate with him but we have fun either way. He listens really well and its helped that we both arrived around the same time.
Reef: Reef!! What a dragon! I appreciate that he shows you don't need powers to be a good rep. Its comforting to have a fellow rep with no powers. He's an amazing rep as well, were not super close but we've talked a good few times.
Windkeeper: She's a great dragon, very caring, motherly, and really does her best to mitigate between the flights. A busy dragonness for sure, but she will make time for you.
Prometheus: He's an insanely cool dragon, I think a lot of dragons expected him to be hot-tempered but he's really down to Sornieth. He can strike up a conversation with anyone and you'll feel like you have been best friends forever.
Evangeline: She is a very giving fae, honestly if she could she would take in so many more dragons than we have space for. Its no surprise to me that the clan is so lush with the way she leads.
Mudslide: He of course has some responsibility in the growth of the clan, he's an amazing leader as well. I enjoy talking to him and hearing about his plans for new buildings.
Aravia: She's a bit hot-headed and self-absorbed at times. She was a good chief engineer for a while but we got into too many arguments (she caused a few problems) so Twilight now takes that role. Aravia is a good engineer, I just sometimes wonder where her heart is at.
Zephyr: Its funny to me how mysterious she is. She's never around long enough after the meetings to talk and she's never around in general. You can tell she loves what she does and the wind dragons appreciate her a lot. I just don't know her well.
Korra: I know most of the reps often get rubbed the wrong way when with Korra but I think were pretty neutral! We don't talk much but she's asked a lot about my "curse" as she says, its just the poisoning of my scales. We've had some really good conversations.
Luck: he's a lil baby rep, heh. Very fresh to the clan so I don't know him too well but he definitely radiates shadow vibes. His story is pretty crazy though, like the whole being shadows almost.
Miro: Also another rep I don't know well. I wish I had more to say.
Freckle: Ah, Freckle. He's not a terrible rep or anything its just he froze my voltvolley set once. It was NOT a fun day and i've been wary of him ever since. I don't think he did it on purpose, I'm just not sure I want to risk my life again.
