Biography

Before moving to the Hewn City, Val had never spent much time with Pearlcatchers. There hadn’t been any living with the clan he had been in before, and very few had ever come to trade or travel through their land. Because of this, he hadn’t known what to expect when he first met Moirae and the other Pearlcatchers in the clan. Having heard about their pride and love of gossip, he had been worried that he would have some trouble getting along with them, but that wasn’t the case. As he spent more time with them, he had started mimicking them more, until he had started to appreciate many of the same things as them.
