Alnazar

↠ Clan Beastkeeper

A complete sweetheart, Alnazar is the clan's Beastkeeper. He is happiest when surrounded by the clan's familiars, and he loves them all, great and small. He knows them all, all their idiosyncrasies and personalities, and is pretty much loved in return by all of them. He doesn't interact with the other clan members all that much, as he always has his hands full, but appreciates those who develop bonds with their familiars.
____His fox mask was a gift from his maternal grandpa, Melkor, who noticed his love for animals at as a hatchling. All of the familiars seem to like it, so Alnazar is not often seen without it. Astyanax is his paternal grandmother.

Zekir is the companion Alnazar spends most time with. Though most Nightfall Imps are crafty and mischievous (or even sinister) Zekir is diligent and rather serious. He likes order and is very strict with the more disruptive familiars. Alnazar takes a much more relaxed approach, but Zekir keeps him on track to make sure they actually get all of their work done by the end of each day.
____Though Alnazar does not remember, he and Zekir had met once long before they became bonded. An injured Zekir had been discovered and nursed back to health by a young, travelling Alnazar. Zekir had been very wary of the Spiral throughout his healing, and ran away in the night the moment he was strong enough to do so. But their meeting stayed with him, and many years later he heard of a Spiral dragon from the Starfall Isles who worked closely with familiars. Zekir decided to go and discover if this was the same dragon who had once saved him and was quietly happy to find it was. Alnazar still hasn't realised that Zekir and the injured Nightfall Imp are one in the same but Zekir is rather embarrassed at the thought of him finding out anyway. Now Zekir tries his best to keep Alnazar out of trouble, at first as repayment, but now just because he considers him a friend.
