Glowing Gold Clawtips
Uh-oh, looks like this party rocker travelled a little too far from her home lair, (KingVulture, #437722) and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to her home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Important note: Please only trade this dragon on travelling dragon threads, as opposed to places such as the Auction House.

Malzahar would like to receive a permanent home someday, so if you'd like to adopt her after she's been travelling long enough, just let KingVulture know!

Biography:
To say that Malzahar is known for throwing wild parties would be like saying that it gets fairly warm in the Ashfall Waste sometimes. Malzahar's parties can get so intense that rumor has it they're the reason she got kicked out of her home clan, Crow Callers, in the first place. Though, knowing Malzahar, there were probably other reasons as well...

Despite all her chaos, Malzahar isn't all bad. Maybe someday she'll figure something out.

Travel Log:

Strangeflesh: Malzahar came to Corrosionius after being kicked out of a Clownpants circus for using up all their glow-sticks. She quickly became friends with Mucus and Necrosis, but drew the ire of Gangrena and Aspergillus, who disliked the ruckus she made and her horrible fashion sense. She tried to throw a really cool party for them all, but the ghost of Lewandowsky appeared and trashed it.

“Woah, woah, woah! This is too weird. I can handle a lot of weird crap… but ghosts… naw!” Malzahar squawked as she flew away.

“Too bad you can’t kill a dead person…” Mucus growled.

MoonlilyluvsCas: Malzahar flew to a glen that welcomed all travelers, hoping to find a good party with all the other dragons that travel. She was disappointed to find everyone to be rather calm and at peace, finding that the garden glen of the Fount of Travelers was a quiet place of serenity and rest. She tried to start a dance party a couple times, but only a few people seemed interested. No one seemed to judge her or her fashion sense here, at least. But people seemed more interested in reading and experimenting with eating new foods than they were to party. She did get the Caretaker of the Fount of Travelers to dance with her, however, so she considered that a win. Hopefully, the next place was more party-tastic.

taniquetil: Since her luck wasn't so good with clans, Malhazar thought that a city might have more partying types in it. When she heard that there was one not terribly far away, Tanglevine Concourse, she headed there immediately to check it out.

At first glance it didn't look good. Most of the dragons there were there on business, buying or selling, and didn't have time for anything. But when she got to the main square, she was encouraged to see a stage there. She had a long chat with the stage manager, Florian, who was very much in favor of having a fun event once in a while. It wouldn't work very well during the day, but in the evening, after all the trading had died down, he thought that one could pull a big audience most of the time. He had some musician friends he could hire, and he knew of some businesses that would support it as well. Slowly but surely, the concept of a rock concert formed.

The two of them planned the event together, including advertising all over the city and some adjacent areas. In the process, Malzahar met all kinds of dragons. When the time came for the concert, she was overjoyed to see so many familiar and new faces there. The musicians where well-prepared, and they were good. Even some dragons who had said they didn't like this style of music seemed to be having a good time. Aster had shown up with a delicious special menu of food and drink for the event. The decorations were festive and the mood was high. She couldn't have asked for a better result in an unfamiliar place like this.

After she helped clean up the next day, it was time to move on. A city like Tanglevine couldn't have big concert-parties all the time, but they could sometimes, and she couldn't wait to be back, but there was always more to see.

Lirillith: Lanternlea Port seemed like a good bet to Malzahar, even if it was in Light Flight territory. And sure enough, in the port village she was able to find, and throw, some decent parties. Just decent, not spectacular. Sure, there were sailors and entertainers and messengers and even some pirates... but still, it was the Light Flight. Lots of scholars and students wandering around, complaining or calling the guards or launching magical beams of blinding light if you made too much noise or tried to turn a fountain into a bubble bath or climb a statue or do much of anything, really.

And if she thought the village was stuffy, that was nothing compared to the little clan enclave she made the mistake of trying. She'd thought it sounded promising - the Mirror who suggested it as a place to stay was a legit pirate, and she knew how to party, too. So Malzahar wasn't expecting a quiet, peaceful place with a giant marble library and fields of sunflowers and a bunch of really grouchy mages, but apparently that was where pirates liked to hang out when they weren't drinking Guardians under the table.

Malzahar was gone at dawn the next morning - it would have been sooner if the cranky mage had wound down his lecture a little earlier - with a newfound skepticism about pirates.

Anomal0car1s: Despite the general fail of her last attempt at a party, Malzahar decided to try once again at a small island somewhere in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The main draw was a chance at a big beach party with a giant bonfire. It took her seemingly forever to reach it, and when she arrived in Terreneuvia, Malzahar collapsed in a bed as soon as she was offered one. This gave the residents of Terreneuvia the impression that she was a calm dragon. Which of course, she isn't.

Once fully rested up, Malzahar started organizing a big beach party. But as night drew near, the dragons who did show up were not nearly as much party animals as Malzahar. Finally, as the sun started to rise and most of the dragons who attended were snoring, the leader of Terreneuvia came to shut it down. Of course, Malhazar was still partying, a pile of used up glowsticks behind her. But eventually she relented and went back to bed, where a parasitic-looking Tundra stared at her in confusion as she discarded the remains of her glowstick jewellery and slipped into bed at the Traveler's Inn.

Though not all was lost -- just before Malhazar was leaving, Anglerfish gifted her a set of glowing gold clawtips to make up for the failed party.
