Uh-oh, looks like this mutated parasite wandered a little too far from its home lair (576542, Strangeflesh), and now it's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, it'd really appreciate it if you could just return it to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but it would be very grateful!

BACKSTORY

Ariel is not a dragon.
In fact, it is the farthest thing from it. It is a Parasite, a creature that enters dragon eggs and replaces the dragon within, breeds with another dragon to continue its lineage, and then dies.
But not Ariel. Ariel was a survivor. It was born mutated, with a mind and body of it own. It had the memories of all the dead Parasites before it, their mindless pain, their pointless deaths.
No.
Ariel would not die. It would be a real dragon, a real person. It just had to find a home. A place that would accept what it was.

Ariel first decided to go to a place where a lot of dragon travelers was a good idea. That way it could figure out how it was supposed to act while still blending in with the crowd. That's why they went to The Fount of Travelers, a sanctuary for weary travelers. Here Ariel found many interesting dragons. Circus performers and refugees, a dragon that looked like a living painting, and even a dragon that makes eclairs. Ariel thought they got the message, every dragon was strange and unique. Maybe acting like itself wouldn't draw too much attention.

Ariel had decided to continue on it's journey, and before too long the parasite had reached it's next destination: Terreneuvia. Upon her arrival, a kind fae named Thunderstorm greeted her and showed her around the small island. Ariel felt something it hadn't felt before; love. Or was it hunger? Either way, the two hit it off and before long had a nest of 3 eggs.

Whilst their eggs were incubating, Thunderstorm invited Ariel to fight in the coliseum with him. There, it reached level 7 before having to return to it's eggs.

Once the eggs hatched, overwhelmed by what it now knew as hunger, the parasite couldn't control it's parasitic natures and ate one of it's newborns whole, then bit Thunderstorm's tail off when the fae tried to protect the other two. In flurry of panic and anger, Ariel snatched one of the remaining hatchlings and flew off, vowing to not eat this one and bring it with her on her travels.

Ariel's first stop after her disasterous time with the nest was a Light lair. While there mushrooms started growing out of Ariel's back. Maybe it was a side effect from the nest, or from the baby that was now following her around? Either way, the other dragons noticed and Ariel left quickly.
