Though Anglerfish is technically the leader of the operation held in Terreneuvia, she is rarely actually around to see the digging take place. She mostly deals with the water around the cliffs of Terreneuvia, and any dragons who live in the Tidelord's domain.

1. What is the name of your clan?

Terreneuvia

2. Is it considered a clan? A tribe? A group? Other?

Probably a tribe- it has many internal groups, such as the Edgar Family.

3. How did the name originate?

My tribe is very rock/fossil centric, as they live in and on the cliffs of Dragonhome mining out minerals and fossils. Hence, Terreneuvia is a corruption of the Terreneuvian, the first epoch of the Cambrian period.

4. What form of leadership runs your clan? A council? A King/Queen/Other? If not, how does the clan operate?

Anglerfish and Furongian lead together, with Anglerfish being in charge of dragon matters and Furongian leading expeditions and helping guide dragons through immense tunnel systems. For now Furongian is also in charge of organizing the tribe's finds, though someday in the future a different dragon may take her place in that regard.

5. What is the main income of your clan? Is there anyone that manages the money?

Furongian will often sift through their geological and paleontological finds, setting aside any relatively scientifically insignificant pieces to sell to the dragons living in both Dragonhome and the Sea of a Thousand Currents. This provides the tribe with a stable amount of income, just enough for Anglerfish to order food and supplies. Nobody in Terreneuvia is paid any type of salary, as their work is seen as a type of a tradition rather than work.

6. Are certain things more valuable than currency that would be used as such?

As mentioned before, no dragons are paid in salary or with treasure, though dragons who dig are often allowed to bring home any finds that Furongian would have sold. These are seen as a primitive form of currency, and is barely ever used, though sometimes a good or service will be exchanged for a certain trilobite species here or an anomalocarid appendage there.

7. Is your clan dedicated to one craft or few, OR do they specialize in many things?

Whilst the majority of Terreneuvians are dedicated to the excavation of fossils, there are some groups who still identify with the tribe but tend to do there own thing. A prime example of this would be the Edgar Sect, a large section of interconnected tunnels holding Edgar and his large family. The tundra and all who associate with him are dedicated to various magicks and potions, though rocks are still a prevalent part of their lives.

8. Does your clan trade with other clans for wares, or do they prefer to keep to themselves?

Furongian does sell any unremarkable finds for a minor profit, generally just enough to keep the clan fed and supplies up. Other than that, Terreneuvians don't generally talk with any dragons off of the wall. In fact, doing so is generally looked down upon.

9. Is there any enemies to your clan? If so, how?

There have been some accounts of thieves here and there, snagging a find or two. Though no other clans or groups have made direct enemies of Terreneuvia.

10. Does your clan squabble with these enemies or other clans often?

Things can get rather dusty when the occasional thief shows it's face, though this doesn't happen often and situations can usually be settled without violence.

11. Does your clan have many allies? If so, how do they usually interact with each other?

The town of Corrosionius, located in the Scarred Wasteland, has proved to be an ally in the past, though the two groups aren't generally in contact and the sentiment of keeping to themselves is still a prevalent one in Terreneuvia.

12. Is there treaties or contracts involved in alliances or is it verbal/based off trust?

The only contract to exist is those between Furongian and a couple different clans, that lets the obelisk sell geological and paleontological finds. This is a solely verbal agreement, and rarely ever comes into effect.
