Lakeisha gathered the original members of the Adumbral Pack together and brought them to their home in the Singing Spire. Her genius, force of personality, and powerful magic make her their undisputed leader—the others are, not cowed by her exactly, but not motivated enough to debate any of her decisions. She’s a strong leader, she has a plan, and that’s good enough for them. (Of course, since she carefully selected each member of her pack, she was able to choose dragons who were unlikely to challenge her.)

Lakeisha’s focus of study is interdimensional math. She probes the borders of universes, seeking the secrets of strange other worlds. Her aim is to eventually pry open gateways between them and bring elements, materials, and even living creatures through into Sornieth in order to study them and to wring forth both knowledge and power, with the ultimate goal of crossing through into those worlds herself. She’s extremely cautious, however, and doesn’t intend to take that first step until she has a metaphysical support structure in place to keep her from being overwhelmed and destroyed by those alien forces. That structure is—or will be—her devoted pack.

One of Lakeisha’s quirks is an obsession with symbolic numbers, and in particular the number three. This is the reason why she initially insisted that her pack members form triads. When she abandoned her attempts to create a clan egregore in favor of working with crystalline structures, the official directive lapsed, but some of the triads remain.

» Lakeisha’s favorite gift that she’s ever received was when Liast taught himself book binding and bound a bunch of her notes together into a tome. She actually felt soft feelings! Since then, she periodically asks him to turn her writings into books, which he’s more than happy to do.
