Established relationships: Tecza and Samir


Auriellis is a nonbinary, gay dragon. He fell in love with Tecza first, before Tecza even realized he was trans. They have a strong, highly romantic, and mutually supportive relationship.

Tecza is the warm and caring healer-type while Auriellis is the wholly dedicated and supportive rock.

Auriellis in general is a quiet, patient, extremely romantic, supportive, and steady personality who takes good care of those they love. Not long into their relationship with Tecza, they rescued a Windcarve harpy wanderer named Samir after Samir got into a near-deadly scrap.

Tecza helped Auriellis nurse Samir back to health and over the course of his stay, though the harpy had left his flock in preference for solitude, he found himself slowly falling for Auriellis and bonding on a platonic level with Tecza. The trio eventually had a discussion/confession session and Samir is now part of the family as one of Auriellis' two life partners, and a queer platonic partner to Tecza.

Samir brings his own strengths to the relationships. Though more aloof than the two dragons by far, he's a keen and decisive strategist both on and off the battlefield who puts his high intelligence to the task of advocating for and making sure his two more giving partners do not over-extend themselves in the effort to take care of everyone else around them.

Tecza has more of a tendency to doormat himself, but Auriellis has been known to take too much on their shoulders with a silent and stoic resolve. Samir makes sure Tecza doesn't get walked all over and Auriellis doesn't sneak under everyone else's radar with more weight than they should be carrying. They are all quick to stand up for and support each other, even if two of the three fail to look out for their own self-interests.

Meanwhile, Auriellis is the strong backbone and support, the steady, protective presence. Tecza is the warm and nurturing healer.



Surprise! Auriellis is actually distantly related to my largest permadragon family: Abhaya, Moksha, Artha, Dharma, Kama, and Jaisudha (at the very least Auriellis and Moksha share the same maternal gen 1)
