Notes from Field Researcher Aerfen:
One of the two Consciousnesses of this Hive. Highly protected, even when Glimmer and I first came across them, neither of us can get much direct information on them or from their code more directly. From what we can gather about the first Con, their designation is 'ABOMI'/'Abomi', are Coatl-shaped, approximately double the size of an adult Coatl, and have a black carapace and wings. They seem to have been born in the Scarred Wasteland, but have since then solely lived in the Tangled Wood. These are the fairly average features expected of the average Con. However, they swiftly diverge from that. They are covered in gem-encircled eyes and their mind is thoroughly intertwined with their Co-Consciousness. It is difficult to distinguish where one ends and the other begins, and I often find their differing designations and roles before any seam between them.
These Cons have a fairly unique treatment of their Hive and Drones, compared to most other Cons. This is likely due to how their formative years went, of which Glimmer and I seem to have just missed. The few details we have discovered show that nearby, and a few years ago, a Hive was entirely obliterated. This fits the approximate time that these two Cons settled into where they are in the Foxfire Bramble. The old Hive had a vast number of Coatl Drones and had recently been acting highly aggressive. HIVE_455 has, as best as can be described, a fear of acting as aggressively. Their Hive is actually vastly smaller than what it could and technically should be based on their Wavelength strength and a surprising lack of nearby competition. However, these two Cons have much more 'active' Drones than most Cons. They do not actively encourage or seek out these features, but appear to find them useful or at least usable. From what has been observed so far, Drones may occasionally grow more complex as time passes, generally matching a fraction of the Cons' growth that allows the majority of the growth to be filled with new Drones. In simpler words: a Drone will develop quirks that only take up any spare room. They do not punish nor trim such growth unless it is specifically detrimental to them and their Hive. If anything, they very much specialize in utilizing their unique Drones.
Please keep aware. They are not dragons, that is always irrefutable. They may love, and pity, and get angry, but most of these emotions are nothing like what dragons would know. Do not take their imitation as draconic emotions either. They may apologize, but it is often not genuine in the traditional sense. Words are like weapons and threats that they measure and weigh very carefully. Few emotions are shown if they happen, and it can be difficult to tell which are for the benefit of those around them or genuine. Allies are those with whom a mutual help can be achieved, but they are expendable*. These Cons will not betray allies or trade them. However, if the ally is in danger and can not reasonably be helped, there will be no effort made. The only 'upside' to this behavior of theirs is that they are upfront about it. All of it. Thus my ability to note this information for any dragons. They will not be fooled into traps by you merely crying wolf.

No matter your skills at avoiding detection, you will be found. I was found. I have no scent, I make no noise, I need no light. It certainly took them longer, but I was found. Glimmer and I are only here to observe if they become a threat, and feel safe enough doing so as we both have connections to others that know our approximate locations. These are the only reasons we are left alone. As actions against either of us would label them a threat. This Hive takes few dragons as-is (even less, recently) and their strength is far greater than their peaceful inclination implies.
