 BOETHIAH ENFORCER OF THE SUB ROSE DIVISION 'THE GLADIATOR' «- - - - - - - - - - - - - ❖ - - - - - - - - - - - - -» In an idllyic childhood he now sparcely remembers except in painful flashes, he lived in a close-knit tribe of Wildclaws. Their lives were hard but, as it feels in the mind of a sun-soaked child, incredibly fun. Everyone was family. It didn't last, as you'd expect. He lost his family young when his parents both died of sickness. At the time the clan was falling apart as they were harrassed by everyone who came upon them. Boethiah followed others who decided to leave. It was a mistake- not long after they left they were set up, and Boethiah found himself enslaved in a coloseum. It was a gruelling existence. Boethiah, once sickly and doted on, was forced to adapt and adapt fast. Unfortunately for his captors, he grew strong and angry, leading an uprising which spiralled into what might be considered a roving pack of brigands tearing down cities; tyrants or just rulers, all were fair game. The Syndicate has known about Boe for a long time- they were one of his contacts as Tau's silent hand directed their fury in useful places in return for resources funnelled in the dark of night. And so when Boethiah went silent, the Syndicate noticed. Boethiah lay dying when the Syndicate found him and brought him home. He's mostly deaf now, having taken a cannonball directly next to his eardrum. Despite his unfortunate life, he's quite relaxed and jovial, happy to sit and drink and chat with just about anyone- on a dime, however, he can flip into pure unadulterated violence, sinking into the depths of depravity with childlike glee. It makes him perfect for the Sub Rosa, of course, as he won't ask questions on what it is that he's doing or why. As you'd expect he does have trouble with authority, only respecting those he personally finds strong enough to deserve his time.
