Her birth was special - like so many others in her line, really - but it was special because it was the parents' first clutch, and one of a handful of clutches ushering in a new era of Witchborne. It was said that Teysa's parents saw her in their dreams even before she was born, delivering small but accurate prophecies unto them.

Teysa was the first to be born out of her clutch and, taking interest in the deck of cards her father drew from, came to accurately predict the cards that would be drawn for her sisters and brother, one by one. As her siblings dispersed and found new homes, Teysa elected to remain within the lands she was born, working alongside her parents. As she grew older, her powers of sight only grew with her, and she became one of the clan's most powerful oracles.

In her adolescence, she discovered that she could not only walk within dreams and pull prophecies from them, but she could interact with the dreamers and affect the outcome of their dreams themselves. This skill has thus been used to gather valuable information and, as the Nightcaller blood boiled within her, she found killing others in their dreams to be delightful.

While she is able to maintain control much of the time, and is restricted to using her skillset on trespassers and enemies, Teysa is known to occasionally lose control.
