The only diffrence between dragons and wild beasts is a dragon’s ability to rationalize and justify. They think, they try and act according to those silly ‘morals’ they thought off and try and justify their actions and desires.
As if deep down they’re not the exact same as those who rely on instinct alone.
It’s fun, seeing how desperate dragons try and cling to this ‘rationality’- how scared they get when confronted with a situation their instincts told them to avoid, whereas their lovely mind told them not to worry. It’s even more fun, how when a dragon truly gets angry, all that’s left is their feral instinct and a need to destroy.
Grymn is a type to really enjoy seeing this feral side, not enjoying the calm and quiet of a rational life.
How the young dragon has become the way he is is beyond anyone, nor is anyone aware of what he really is like. The pale coatl is all smiles and seemingly innocent questions, while behind the scenes he systemically brings ruin to those he has targeted, getting closer and closer to the dragons he’s destroying, seeing their collapse up close and with plenty of details. It’s fascinating, how the once ‘rational’ dragons all fall to his plots.
Fascinating, how their instincts make them either prey, wanting to hide away or predator, wishing to just destroy and kill. It’s kind of unpredictable what dragons will become when their mind shatters and they’re violently shoved beyond their own limits; beyond insanity even!
To a place where only their instincts remain.
It’s almost cute- seeing a once ‘rational’ dragon reduced to a snarling, growling mess that only wishes to destroy the tiny coatl. Nothing more than beasts that are unable to think- just feel. Just feral rage
Dragon’s really are at their best when they’re indistinguishable from beasts…!
The first time Grymn got a dragon to that point- their rationality completely destroyed as they succumed to their primal, predatory needs- it took his breath away. Truly, the guardian they had caged was a beast of beauty: there was nothing left of the brave knight who’s morality and courage were a beacon of hope. It was no different from a chimera that had been deprived of food for days- savagely tearing into whatever meats Grymn gave him.
Good thing beasts can be tamed, and the coatl has managed to do so without ruining the feral beauty the guardian held: the once valiant knight had become his beloved guard dog, willing to rip anyone to shreds who even looked at the tiny coatl wrong. Of course, the beast itself couldn’t decide when that was, and would often attack at random. Grymn didn’t mind, extremely happy with his achievement.
Though he can’t help but wish he had more pets.

Special ability: Ragelock Once per battle, Grymn can give an opponents the 'berserker' status. This will last until the battle ends or until the opponent in question faints. This ability cannot be blocked, though it can be deflected to one of Grymn's allies. The berserker status can be cured by Grymn's Primal rage ability. |
Secret ability: Primal rage When one or more dragons is affected by berserker, Grymn can decide who they attack, essentially turning an enemy into an ally. Grymn can use this three times every single battle, and once these have been used up, one of the dragons will lose their berserker status. |
