The Architect

Architecture is a form of art that Kuro enjoys most. The Banescale has a curious nature and is completely mute. To communicate, he writes on a chalkboard that he also draws design ideas on. He has little interest in politics and likes to spend his time creating designs that both Ashen and Damien agree are exceptionally good. He often feels like an outsider everywhere he goes, leaving him feeling lonely. He craves affection and just wants a hug sometimes.

Kuro was born and raised in the Scarred Wasteland. He always felt different from his clan, who were only interested in battle and showing off their scars. He was more interested in buildings such as the Observatory and the Cloudsong, marvelling at their construction. He began creating designs of his own, which were little more than bad scribbles on paper. But over time his passion for architecture drove him to develop his skills and he created more elaborate and beautiful designs that gained the interest of builder dragons. Kuro eventually moved to Outpost Toast to better study the incredible rods and spires of the Lightning Farm.

Kuro may look scary, but he hasn't got a single mean bone in his body. Fighting was never something he was interested in and thus he never took part in anything of the sort. He can hunt for himself well enough. If engaged in battle he will attempt to take to the skies to flee, using his strong wings to create powerful gusts of wind to knock back his enemies and make a quick escape.

In his free time, Kuro enjoys the company of Weyland, who he designed a sandpit for. The two can often be found building marvellous sandcastles of grand scale and design. He gets along with Narri and Harrow, the three of them bonding of their shared love of art. Despite knowing his ancestors history, Kuro bares no ill will towards Gaolers. He shares his hatchday with Arcade and Mint.
