Phoebe of No-Rank

I. Phoebe grew up on stories of Baldwin, and wanted to become a Bogsneak like he was. She threw her life into becoming an alchemist, working tirelessly in her lab and trying to figure out the combination that Baldwin had done to turn her into a different type of dragon. Hoping to unlock the secrets of how breed changes worked in general, her experiments ended up going wrong. Instead of turning into a Bogsneak, she turned into a Skydancer!

She managed to figure out the secret of breed changes, and all of the siblings in her same clutch wanted to change their breeds as well. She figured it out for them, and they all changed. But while she was out trying to find more ingredients for more experiments, she was caught by a rogue Plague dragon.

And unfortunately, she was killed.

II. Her body was discovered by Jupiter, distraught at the loss of his sister. He threw himself into his work, and managed to revive her. Jupiter swore Ichirou to secrecy about this. Phoebe thought that she had only been gravely injured, not killed, so Jupiter didn't break the news to her. He let his sister return to the empire with no knowledge of what truly happened.

III. Soon after, she met Oliver. He was the only other witness of what happened, as he watched Jupiter drag Phoebe's dead body back and spied on the dark magic user in fear of what he would do to Phoebe's body, but was relieved to see her alive. He devoted himself to protecting her, even without orders from Aislinn. Although Phoebe was somewhat annoyed with this at first, the two eventually fell in love.
