Biography
Gharil squints at you, judging for a moment, before breaking into a manic grin. "Would you like to see more?" Without waiting for your answer, you drags you further into the makeshift shop. Gyrehex follows behind you, silent. Stoic. Lifeless.
He eventually drags you to a hidden cave and the three of you head inside. You don't really try to fight against Gharil's grip, assuming the plague doctor was stronger than her looked.
After a lot of twists and turns, Gharil finally stops and yanks you in front of him. He gestures before the two of you broadly, showing off a larger group than you had expected of these 'revived' rotten dragons. The one that primarily catches your gaze, is a green and white banescale covered in eyes. They all snap to you at one, seemingly more aware than Gyrehex seemed to be.
Noticing where your attention was drawn, Gharil lifts his head proudly. "That's Lyseria. She is one of my most recent patients. She's the most sentient one of them all by far. I'm confident that I'm getting closer and closer each day to finding a perfect cure." He continues to infodump about his research, and you automatically tune him out in favor of going to join Lyseria.
They hiss at you as you approach, wings splaying out as if she was trying to make herself look bigger. You stop in your tracks and observe her, taking note of her behavior. Maybe, just maybe, Gharil was a part of some much, much bigger.
"Sstay... away frrom... my... ffamilyy," they spoke slowly, with effort. There was something about how they were that didn't sit well with you. As you study her longer, you notice slight movement behind her. They were hiding something from you.
