Biography
Abia winces as you ask for guidance to the clan merchant. She doesn't complain as she leads you to them, but you can't help but notice that she's purposely slowing the two of you down. It's as if she doesn't want to be around this dragon, but you don't know the true depth of their relationship as she hasn't kicked them out at least.
The walk is silent save for the natural sounds of the Wasteland. You find that you're beginning to get used to the noises, as disgusting as they might be. Maybe the plague clans aren't as bad as they're made out to be.
No sooner do you finish that thought then you find yourself in the company of a very decayed skydancer. Even though you're a good distance away, the smell of a rotting corpse stings your nose and eyes. They're dressed in multiple shades of brown, a little hamster and a spaniel watching the two of you approach with little interest.
Abia stands before you, her wings splayed defensively. If you didn't think that there was something off about the merchant, you do now. Clan leaders, especially those of plague, were very rarely shaken. Still, Abia speaks to the skydancer in her oh so sickly croon. "Lumorn, I trust all is well. Plaguebringer knows what you've been doing with Xue."
The skydancer cracks a smile, slowly stepping toward the mirror. "Abia, my love, how could you think so lowly of my raising of our daughter?"
Wait... Abia had a kid... with this dragon? She doesn't really strike you as the type who goes for smug jerks, but to each their own you suppose.
She snarls, moving so you are now exposed fully to Lumorn. "The next time I hear of her and Genera robbing some poor, lost pup, I will have your head. This traveler wanted to speak to our merchant, so do your job." With that, she leaves.
Lumorn turns to you slowly, their pets eyeing you as well. You gulp, regretting your decision, not for the first time, on this journey.
