2419.png 		The swamp Puddleglum grew up in, where she still sleeps every night. Even though she travels every day, across vast swathes of steppe frequently well-documented to not feature even wet meadows, it's somehow still always close by when the time comes to turn in for the night.

Which is a bit much for even Peat and Frank's practice in rolling with things, yet makes no difference to its existence.

And if one can brave the stench (and bugs, predatory lurkers, treacherous footing, difficulty in navigation, and pervading oppressive malaise) to penetrate it there's actually an astonishing biodiversity of flora, fauna and minerals hidden within well worthy of study.
(How, exactly, Puddleglum doesn't carry the reek of the swamp with her whenever she leaves it is another great mystery, but one everyone who knows her is profoundly grateful for.)

(Except Gremlin, who does not share her providential immunity but follows her in anyway, and has seemingly never noticed his stink any more than her lack of it.) 		8101.png

At least they're apparently biodegradable, given how the swamp is eating them...
