Does not answer to "Boggy oggy oxen free!" Ever.

7kYEebd.png Was a big, impressive guardian—towered over his sister, who towers over the majority of the lair residents—until he got caught in the blast of one of the swamprats' bigger "oops"es. He's forgiven them, since the swamprats were very sorry and also smart enough not to offer to do anything to try to fix him.

He's still got his horns, even though they curled up for some reason, so that's something. He's still got some... very different... fins, and good claws, and an even heavier sweeping tail, so that's all good. The loss of his beard is a hard blow, one that no one properly sympathizes with, but he's strong enough to bear it.

(...And then Johnny got in an accidental scuffle with a mage and came out chin-whiskered. And then HIS SISTER grew a beard nicer than his was!)
The really lousy thing is being stuck so sandpitted tiny but that's fine, he adjusted, he can deal with that too... but he is NOT, no matter what Tigris thinks is funny, a bobsnob, bootleg or bogglesnoggle.


It's not that he's less sociable now that he's of a size his former cohort can tease about overlooking or almost stepping on, he's still got the same sense of humor as ever, he's just... less interested in socializing. Except with Frank, Frank doesn't count, and of course Johnny (even though he used to be twice as big as her...).

But everyone has to grow up sometime, there are more important things to do than sit around and jaw, now that he's so much closer to the ground he can make a really good study of soil/sediment distribution and substrate layers while out with Frank, and there's a lot to relearn and practice when it comes to fighting with Johnny now that he's the one better suited to first strikes and ambush, and anyway... anyway. Things change.

Like bodies, apparently, when the swamprats are around, but anyway.
