Overview:

"Of all the dragons, Arcane dragons are the most curious, pursuing their theories and their dreams, often oblivious to the effects that their dogged pursuits may have on the world around them"

Meyry, Queen of the Amethyst kingdom, is a notoriously strict and powerful ruler. With both her intelligence and her magical attributes to back it back, her bite is just as deadly as her bark.

As an arcane dragon, from the moment she was born (as a fae) she was brimming with curiosity. However, during her constant pursuit for that higher, magically enhanced version of herself - a version that far surpasses the capabilities of a single 'fae' - she began to lose herself to the eldritch sorcery that filled the Starfall Isles, especially in the magical horrors of the Forbidden Portal.
The more taboo magic she retained, the more both her physical and mental state shifted; in short, she became a spiral to represent the spiral of her own mind, twisting and swirling into an incomprehensible being.

B I O G R A P H Y

______ Meyry (Mei-rey) is the one and only Queen of the Amethyst. She is infamously known to be incredibly intelligent, cruel, and heavily strict - with such outlandish and absurd levels of magic, it is hard to comprehend that she is a dragon at all. Despite her pretty gaze, her extravagant confidence and fear factor never fails to intimidate others. She grew up (as a fae) with an adoration for Spirals and Skydancers, and an even greater passion for design and art. But her primary fascination, and what her Kingdom strives on, is the concept of perfection. Her palace, greatly guarded and intricately decorated, is made up of her family and those she considers worthy.

______ Her regal stature and graceful presence is not to be mistaken. She’s a fierce and violent Queen through and through, and would go to any length to prove her power - even at the cost of others lives, including her own. She is hardly empathetic and even struggles to understand why a dragon could feel or think anything that contrasts her own ideology, and as a result of this she has a bad habit of downplaying the value of dragons - even if she knows nothing but their name. It is a weakness she is well aware of, so she does not let her opinions be known unless necessary. She was noted to be much more emotional and open-minded when her reign first began, but for reasons unknown and severely debated through the dragons of the kingdom she essentially became a being outside of her former self; One that simply could not see dragonkind as the same level as her.

______ Within the kingdom, much intense and violent dragons that defy the natural state of being can be contained only under her ruling - despite how otherworldly and morally decrepit they were. Though they seem capable of single-handedly overthrowing her, they instead - like the rest of the kingdom - live in fear of her authority, why? As many came to know, she was a curious and power-driven fae all her life, but what they do not understand that it was for the worst. Really, she would have never seen herself as such a unbenevolent and morally strained ruler when she was younger, so how did she get here? How did such a intelligent and wise young fae grow to essentially become a spiral of her own mind, twisting and swirling into an incomprehensible being. The answer is grim;

The decisions Meyry has made in the past began to inevitably corrupt and taint her.

B E F O R E

______ Meyry never knew her parents. She hatched during a full moon in within' Starwood strand, where faes originated from. There was no one to help her survive in her early days - she was on her own from the very start and risked her life many times just to stay alive in the unpredictable woods. A young Colrath discovered her while in a confrontation with a Hydra, she was around 4 weeks old at the time. He would swoop in and save the young fae, which she would remember for the rest of her life. She tagged along with him across the Starfall Isles (much to his dismay), meeting Florence during a frenzy as he ran from his long destroyed home. He was around Meyry's age and they bonded through their lack of parents; Florence losing them and Meyry never having met them. Soon they, gradually, fell in love. However this new peace in her life would not last long, as it was soon after that Meyry witnessed her first encounter with the Forbidden Portal.

______ The first spiral she ever met was Aoi, who few months later was murdered in cold blood for going against her orders. The fae was awestruck by the spirals long body and bizarre attack methods, never seeing anything like it in her life - she had once compared their movements to the Hydra that attacked her not that long ago as the memory was still fresh in her mind. Aoi lead them to her own small clan of spirals. Meyry decides to stay, Colrath and Florence - having nothing better to do - by her side. Rey, Aoi’s first mate, follows along with the group, carrying a bright Amethyst wherever he goes; which Meyry had an odd obsession with the second it sparkled in her eyes. He did his best to assist Meyry with taking notes everyday as she rants on, expressing her curiosity and interest with the breed. She soon decided to permanently live with the Spirals.

______ Her stay ended quickly however. One day, whilst Meyry was in the library, an ambush occurred. Dragons from the Scarred Wasteland invaded the town for undisclosed reasons and the young fae watched in horror and confusion as all the dragons she befriended burn in toxic flames and die of infection. Once over, ironically the ones remaining were Aoi, Colrath, Florence, and herself.. Instead of despair, the fae felt wiser, as if her eyes were finally opened. She whipped out her scroll and hazardly written down this experience with great interest - the scroll now is only available in the restricted part of the library.
She finds Rey’s amethyst hidden in the rubble of his home while her party searched for survivors. Taking it with her and setting off to the Crystalspine Reaches to start new. The amethyst in her old purple cape, she takes her place as queen and start a monarchy. She decided to dedicate spirals, bloodshed, and art to her new lair and promised a long lasting dynasty. And so begins her rein.

- She loves pomegranate, it's her favorite fruit.

- Her relationship with Koralli resembled more of an obsession, she grew intrigued in her and was constantly surprised at how different she is compared to her.

- However, overtime Koralli and Meyry's relationship subtly began to strain, as the more corrupt and apathetic Meyry became the less the other was able to confide in her. Only few dragons take note of this, as their relationship deteriorated from an authentic relationship to more of a give and take in means of power.

- Grew a strong distaste for Florence, she had loved him at some point - but she was a different dragon then.

- Marionette's her favorite daughter - though she isn't gonna tell anyone that.

- She gets bored quickly, and will do anything to cure it, even if it means tarnishing relationships or even ruining other lives.

- Meyry's name wasn't my idea. Me and my cousin used to play Animal Jam when we were little, and her username was 'Meyry27' just an odd short version of her own name. When making this account I couldn't help but remember that and decided to name my user and custom progen after it

"No no dear, enough from you. Give your tired claws a rest. Have a snack. Retire for now." Solavalei steps forward, brushing Balthazar aside. "I've yet to fulfill a request, and I have some skill of my own I wish to unveil. Where do you think you get it from my love?"

She takes a look at Meyry with a soft but slippery smile, almost as if velvet that was an illusion. Her expression turned stern, studying the fae queen, and returned to a satisfied smile once more. "Hm...she is a clever highness. Bold, hm, mysterious, beautiful, beautiful. Yes." She folded her wings elegantly before sitting and dictating her words on paper, weaving them like a web. "Worthy of royal status indeed.~"

Solavalei writes elegantly, in no hurry. She looks as if she is signing law, or introducing a shackling doctrine in order to administer superior rule. Yet she seems to be enjoying her art...

When she finishes she simply sets the quill down and lets the ink dry, going over the poem once more with hawk-like precision. She takes a deep breath and smiles in satisfaction. "I dare to say, this is worthy enough for a queen, though not our own.~" Solavalei presents the poem, after rolling it up in an elegant silk tie and handing it over with reverence. "Truly, it was an honor to write for such royalty.~"

The trials the trials,
open truth closed judgement,
comes on wings miles,
from forgiveness, her strong testament.

Tired is her heart, her face and eyes,
though shrouded behind beauty dark,
beauty divine, all wretched blemish flies,
from her body, leaving no vile mark.

Oh, but age pulls her heart, torn
apart her spring nests, no more,
enough have come to her and worn
out her tolerance and perfect core.

Send away the traitors, and the foolish stench,
eliminate the foulest offence of her highness,
the trespasser, the charlatan, the crooked wench,
none shall live, save leave and grant the Queen that silence.

Locked heart away, under key and guard,
and vault and blade and stone gate.
Set free the hiss from jaws of violet shard,
the power of retribution in royal hand late,
to lay upon those opposed
who dare to test her glowing bate.

Vain is the one which thinks the thought,
that she is merely the head of the lioness.

Superior to the heavens, superior to the earth,
superior to the night, no treasure equals her worth.

Her overall appearance is breathtaking and impressive, she instantly catches the eye of every visitor and leaves him speechless with her mighty and powerful aura. You did incredibly well on her outfit and the apparel layering - although she is covered with accessories, it doesn't make her look cluttered. Everything looks perfect and well-placed. I love the magical, elusive vibes she gives off!
