Rishi

On the edges of the Clan's series of Cloudsong platforms, a single floating tent catches your eye. In spite of how early in the night it is, no light emanates from its depths. The only light at all comes from the little golden lantern just out the front. From within the dark silks you can hear the faintest of hummings, and a slender Spiral emerges, turning his head toward you. His eyes are the first thing you see, for they glow with the faintest of lights- but then you see the lack of an iris, the hexagonal patterns in the golden surface.
"Hello?" the Faceted dragon inquires curiously, and then pauses. "Ah. A visitor. Are you here for help, or simply for conversation?" There's a tiny Gem Guardian settled on his head, peering around his horns with a curious expression.
When you indicate the latter he nods, and settles his long coils on the platform. "So you desire to know who I am, and what I do? Well, the first is easy. I am Rishi, and this-" he holds one talon up to his tiny companion- "is Jyoti. They are my guide."
"Guide?" you ask.
"Ah." He raises one talon to his eyes. "The Light gave me what is both a curse and a blessing, you see. I have no sight as you have sight, though that does not truly matter. Jyoti has helped me to see in far more important ways- but the greatest thing they have done for me is not that. I have learned to treat magical diseases and curses through both them and under the tutelage of others. Now I roam with this Clan so as to travel to those who require my aid."
Jyoti makes a soft sound, and you realize it's the same as the humming you'd heard earlier. They slip into a small pouch that Rishi carries and emerge with their tiny Light gem clutched in both paws, their wide golden eyes observing you with obvious curiosity. Rishi smiles down at his familiar before turning back to you.
"If that's all, I must return to my work," he says kindly. "I thank you for stopping by." With that he whisks away into his tent once more, and you're left with nothing but the golden lamp for company.
