I’ve been here for a long time. Too long, I think; some have said it’s been. I tend to agree; centuries ago they said that the newer generation would take up the mantle and I suppose that’s just never happened. My daughter, Toibomme, does well enough as it is. Gingerdoode has been saying she’s an annoyance for the past few centuries… but frankly, it’s fun to watch her squirm about it. Though, with all due time, I suppose I should get into it all for whatever future generations happen to come about. (at this point, I tend towards doubt that the order will even continue.) I am Mezzotine- longstanding Warden of the 17th, or as we call it Frogenstill. I will not pepper it with flowery language- for a long time, we were a storage unit.

I alone whipped the dragons here into shape to be a proper order, and by my reckoning the only ones that have stayed in shape are Toibomme, Gingerdoodle, and Glaccion. Perrebaca is borderline lethargic, Eurridice is too friendly for his own good. Camellia… she is too invested in the thought of the modern age and not enough with this one. Tabkkleta is a bit off, but I don’t blame her- she was one of Light heritage. The oddest, however, are the two known as Eirys and Binxe. They claim they were sent in from another Order, but their eyes bear the deeper colors of the shadows and sea, and they know little of the duties they are supposed to hold. Not to mention I’ve never seen a Gaoler with that gaudy of a coat. We’ll know all in due time, I suppose.

FR user Dreu and their Slatehide Troupe inspired me to add an Intents section to at least one of my subclan’s bios; the idea works very well for them, so I wanted to try it and see how it goes!

Intents: to turn the Frogenstill Fortress into a respectable fortress, and petition it to earn an official Number and label her an official Fortress-Warden in the Icewarden’s council

To train her only daughter, Toibomme, to follow her footsteps if she somehow passes before her job is completed… though she does not intend on passing.

To figure out who those vibrantly-hued tourists think they are, and why they’re visiting her fortress of all places

To go out on a hunt again. Her time under the ice has not helped her physiology, and she needs to regain strength before attempting to bear the heat of the sun.
