To get Perrebaca to start to at least pretend to have more energy. The green Gaoler is practically lethargic, and barely does anything without his mate’s input.
To rise the ranks to be the next Fortress-Warden. Toibomme doesn’t deserve the responsibility that comes with such a title.
To finally scare off those colorful lazeabouts that have infected their fortress like a plague.
To imitate outsiders and friends alike.

Date: Cantormense 21, cycle 1732. I am known as Many things. A Sentry. Newly a Seeker. A Warden, the Second. I am Gingerdoodle Liciatvellus, a Gaoler of Old. And I was given this journal to write in. Fortune has not told me where to Begin. I have deigned it wise to begin where I begin. I am not the First of the Gaoler to be formed by the great Icewarden's claw. I came soon after, and I have Taken my role under the fortresses of Frogenstille. We are a 'lessrr' order, as known to as the Others. We do not have Space for the greatest Horrors our kind may hold. However, we are the fortress to hold easily the creatures too Large to let roam alone, yet too Small to be held by the Others. We hold many times more than the Larger keeps, but our Jailed are less so than the Others. Therein, we do not have Overseer nor Sentinels active. We do have a single Sentinel, however, he is Unfit to resume duty while too magically potent to Decline life. |

My own Life, till new months, has been Simple. Since the Fall of the Flamecaller's first children, i have seen no Battle, and Few have dare gone close enough when I act as Sentinel. With my lack of fortune, however, recent events have Opened the outer world to us once more, and I have been called to Resume my post under Seeker-Warden of Frogenstill. Soone after the reinstatement of Seekers, our Fortress was contacted by a Yitzbul Frostfer, an eccentric Gaoler who has allowed age to affect him. We tooke part in the beginnings of an Experiment to see how elements not of our Owne would affect Ability. Luck has failed, as only three Children have been Borne, and two have gone away. One of Two of the Arcane has vanished, and our only child of Light has fled. Our last Arcane, who continues to lack name, has been placed in Confinement due to odd mental patterns. My current worry is taken by two items: the apparent Return of the Flamecaller's First, and the flight of the Light child, Tabkikasjia Furrureroone. The Child showed much Promise in our duty to free the World of the touch of the Shade. I have Reasone to fear that the two may be interlinked, and reasone to worry o're the bond that may grow between enemy races. . |
