Tale of the
Frogenstil

Frigid paws walk across stoney halls, the fur on the edges of paws collecting the dust that noone’s bothered to clean up. This is but the daily life of the Gaolers of Frogenstill, ages-old dragons who need not the modern ways of the dragons of now.

The Fortress Frogenstill is headed by the longstanding warden mezzotine. She was put into place about two thousand years ago, when the fortress was constructed and assigned. The fortress was, initally, nothing more than extra space. This is why no Seekers were assigned in it's early years.

The first hundred or so years went by smoothly. Grizzibont, Eurridice, Glaccion, Saddare, and someone else worked as simple Sentries, Keepers, and Overseer.

This is until two things happened.

First, Mezzotine had a daughter. The heir apparent to the Fortress, she would be trained an Overseer until Mezzotine's passing. However, when that would come about is unknown; as no gaolers had died yet of the time.

Then, about five years later, two Seeker trainees were introduced. They had come from the same overpopulated Order and, despite being very young, knew the ways of their duty. They were to be dormed with Mezzotine's daughter until they could graduate and recieve their name.

The calander year the Gaolers used is based off the pull of the elemental force they feel through the year.

Textormense - The beginning of the year, when the sun shines brightest
Prehenderatmense - Second month, static electricity
Ferrariusmense - Third month, hottest and Ice magic is weakest
Medeismense - Fourth month, the Creatures are weakened
Latormense - Fifth month, Ginger always gets a flu
Crispicomense - Sixth month, the stone halls seem to be a bit stronger
Nihilmense - Seventh month, nothing special.
Custosmense- Eighth month, Ice magic is strengthened and the Fortresses meet.
Ligansmense - Ninth month, the nights are longer
Cantormense - Tenth month, the wind howls fiercest and Mezzotine can fly swifter
Aquamense - Eleventh month, harder to freeze water
Praestesmense - End of the year, the harvests are fuller
