Bio
Corwin has a reliable memory, and is agreeable with most dragons. He likes telling youngsters stories of the “good old days”. One of his pitfalls is that he can’t pass up a game of chance, and loves to make friendly wagers. He is generally a pessimist, and is honest to a fault telling people exactly what’s on his mind.

Back Story
Corwin is an old guy who has seen a lot. Almost everyone he knew is gone, with the exception of his sister and some nieces and nephews. Even his sons, and beloved mate have gone to serve. He has remained behind, because he still has something to do. He doesn’t know what that something is, but he can feel it deep in his chest.

He lived in his home clan for a long time until the time came for the owner’s departure. His friends dusted off their belongings and presented themselves for any passing lightning clan. As his friends began to abandon their old homes in favor of a new life, Corwin began to lose hope. Dragon after dragon and prize after prize left with each visitor, but he remained. Maybe his heart had been wrong, maybe it was his time. He grew despondent, and decided to lay in the far corner of the lair. Something poked his tail, and he looked up expecting a remaining lair mate, come to commiserate. His shock was apparent when it was a friendly face offering him a new home. He accepted and followed them home to the carrion canyon on October 2nd, 2016

When Corwin arrived, he was unsure of all the young faces. No one was anywhere near his age, but they welcomed him with friendliness and respect. The lair’s counsel convened to ask if he wished for any genetic changes. He was unsure exactly what they meant, so he gave them an unsure answer. They accepted his response, but left the question hanging in the air, if he ever decided he wanted to. They offered him clothes and a Brilliant Psywurm, Leopard Coralclimber, and a Sunbeam Soldier, which he graciously accepted. They asked what skills he had to offer the clan. He thought for a moment and replied with his experiences and wisdom.

Eventually the small clan grew in size. They saved enough treasure by battling in the coliseum and playing the fair grounds to buy Corwin a wildclaw, petals, shimmer, and glimmer scroll. At first he was hesitant to accept the changes, but once it was done, he felt quite pleased with his new life.

On the day of his final scrolling, a trip to the auction house yielded a surprising find. A stranger was hastely brought to the clan for safe keeping. A messenger was sent out to see if an error could be corrected. Corwin didn’t care much for the details but listened to the gossip to get the gist. Something big was bought for fodder price, something that was certainly mispriced. When word came in that there was no error in judgement, and the good deed had been rewarded, he was thoroughly engaged. Corwin had to see what the big deal was about. To his astonishment, the big find was an old, triple gem gened, male wildclaw named Gen. He finaly had a friend to reminisce with, especially when he found that Gen was only a few days younger than himself. They quickly became close, dear friends that spend their time telling each other about their own lives.
