"Come visit my friends! But please, be gentle with them." Halleta continued the family tradition of falling in love with insects. From her very first days, she was enchanted by the fuzzy bees that would buzz around the Den's territory. She eventually threw herself into research of how to beekeep. She learned how to build hives for them to live in, and once she made her first and a colony moved in, she knew she had already found her Charge. Halleta uses her nature magic to grow the best flowers for the bees to pollinate. She collects honey they make to be either used in Leayon's cooking or for Festive to sell to other clans. Daybreak and Sunset were very happy that another one of their children opted to stay with them in the clan. Halleta doesn't go seeking out companionship, but she's receptive when it falls to her. She spends most of her day tending to her beehives and loves to see visitors and teach them about the bees, as long as they're respectful to the colonies. She even encourages them to include the bees in their conversation, as she thinks talking to the bees relaxes them. She and Eventide are the babies of the family, and tend to be equally spoiled and annoyed by their older sisters. Widget had offered to develop an automated beehive to make Halleta's work easier, to which the beekeeper vehemently refused. She feels when dealing with nature's most delicate little workers, a natural and gentle claw is better than cold machinery. Visellia was smitten by Halleta the moment she saw her hatch, and started making bee-inspired clothes to encourage her little sister's passion. Halleta appreciates it, but now she has too much yellow and black striped paraphernalia (that she doesn't even really like to wear that much). |
