"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing." *Any future hatchlings will not be canon* Eventide had planned to follow the footsteps of most of his other siblings and leave the Den in search for adventure and his Charge. That suddenly changed, as shortly after he set off on his journey, he was caught in a strange magical surge that chilled the air. His body had been changed, and his head was suddenly filled with an ancient language he couldn't make heads or tails of. His mother Sunset luckily found her newly transformed son and brought him back to be examined by the doctor and sorcerers. Physically, they found him to be fine, and the sorcerers figured out a spell to help him make sense of the two languages now swimming around in his brain. With his unfamiliar new appearance, Eventide was uncomfortable with going out into the world now. His family and clanmates suggested he make use of one of the magical scrolls that could be used to change a dragon's breed. But Eventide was still shaken by his experience of being changed against his will, and didn't want the possibility of going through it again, however unlikely it is with the controlled magic of scrolls. For a time, Eventide was the only dragon that Kotari gave the time of day. Besides being apprehensive to set out into a world he was now unfamiliar to, Eventide wanted to stay and help Kotari become acclimated to the modern era. Eventually she softened up, and the two became very close. With many ancient breeds of dragons making themselves known, the members of the Den have begun to have encounters with them, and some have begun to make their home there. Eventide took it upon himself to help them adapt to the modern era they find themselves in. |
