"I guess I can take a short break from my studies..." One Night of the Nocturne, Ledgerdemain was searching for ingredients to use for potions and alchemy, when he came across a Nocturne egg. He picked it up and almost dropped it in shock, as he sensed the incredibly strong wave of magical energy coming from the hatchling within. He quickly rushed it back to the Den to show Enodia. Before they could decide what to do with it, the egg hatched and they found themselves with a new son. Since he was old enough to hold a quill, Tenderclaw has been taught the sorcerous arts by Ledgerdemain. The elder dragon takes great pride in finally having his own apprentice. Tenderclaw greatly enjoys working under his father. He hopes to meet the other sorcerers that Legerdemain has spoken of and show them what a good job hes done in learning their shared art. He also knows some basic alchemy, thanks to his mother. Tenderclaw is ever curious, constantly trying to learn more about magic. He's frequently picking the brains of the older dragons within the clan, from learning about their respective elemental magics, to interviewing Prennia to record how her life in the Behemouth amplified her prowess, to trying to single handedly figure out the enigma that is Quill. Of all the wondrous arts he's learned so far, he's found that he has a knack for creating magical objects. The first he's made was a flying records book that follows Sterling around to be used at a moments notice. Tenderclaw occasionally adds more helpful enchantments to it, to the delight of the scribe. |
